The Visual Arts Department at Mount Roskill Grammar School is a small but vibrant department with a team of dedicated teachers. The aesthetic and technical training that students receive in the Visual Arts Department provides a valuable basis for entry into further education at tertiary level, and our students have a sound record of gaining positions at tertiary art and design institutions.

Welcome to the 2010 MRGS Visual Art Dept Blog

2010 is well underway and the senior students are investigating contemporary urban artists. We are busy organising a trip to The Auckland City Art Gallery and Britomart on Wednesday March 10th.  Check out cutcollective.co.nz to see some Urban Artists from Aotearoa.
