The Visual Arts Department at Mount Roskill Grammar School is a small but vibrant department with a team of dedicated teachers. The aesthetic and technical training that students receive in the Visual Arts Department provides a valuable basis for entry into further education at tertiary level, and our students have a sound record of gaining positions at tertiary art and design institutions.

The value of Street Art?

Here are some interesting news articles about some Banksy's images that have been painted over.

Football legend George Best, and Banksy's kissing coppers, Brighton - this image is now protected by a perspex sheet. The old version of this same image was painted over by two middle aged men who took offence. They were later prosecuted.
